As part of its ongoing one-man exhibition "The Wine of Life," the Norris Gallery in St. Charles presents artist Nick Freeman, who will provide a lively look behind the scenes and describe his step-by-step oil painting methods in a talk on Friday, August 1 at 7 pm.

Suitable for artists and non-artists alike, this free presentation will be preceded by live music and refreshments beginning at 6 pm. The exhibition of Freeman's realist paintings and photography has received an enthusiastic response from the public and has been extended through August 30. A gala fundraising auction, featuring several of Freeman's works, is being held on Friday, August 15.
