Registration for Lake Villa Township Baseball League fall baseball begins Friday, Aug. 1. The league hopes to have six teams at each level: Pinto, ages 7 and 8; Mustang, ages 9 and 10; Bronco, ages 11 and 12; and Pony, ages 13 and 14. Girls softball will be for girls 8 and under, 10 and under, 12 and under, and 15 and under. Most games are played on weekends. Residents can email questions to The cost is $75 for boys Pinto and Girls 8 and under, $85 for boys Mustang and girls 10 and under, $95 for boys Bronco and girls 12 and under, the $105 for boys Pony and girls 15 and under. The league will host Colt-level baseball for players ages 14 to 18, and compete against teams from Avon, McHenry, and Waukegan. Registration is by walk-in Saturday, Aug. 2, 9 to 11 a.m., and Wednesday, Aug. 6, 6 to to 8 p.m., at the Lake Villa Township Baseball Park concession stand on Grass Lake Road.
