Arlington Heights man gets 3 years for abusing 5-year-old
An Arlington Heights man pleaded guilty to aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a young girl, court records show.
Julio Flores-Robles, 40, was sentenced to three years in prison and ordered to register as a sex offender, according to court records.
Prosecutors said Flores-Robles denied the allegation when the mother of the victim confronted him about the abuse, which occurred last year. The then-5-year-old victim told her father's girlfriend, who informed the girl's father, who took the child to the hospital and called police, prosecutors said.
Flores-Robles also was ordered to pay $1,189 in fines. He received credit for 310 days in custody.
