Fred Fest, an annual reunion concert of well-known, Barrington-trained musicians, will be held from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, at the Fox River Forest Preserve on Roberts Road in Port Barrington. Admission is $20. This year's bands include Hudson McCoy, 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m.; Sons of Bildor, 12:30-1:15 p.m.; Pat McKillen, 1:30-2:15 p.m.; Dr. Bombay, 2:30-4 p.m.; Rod Tuffcurls, 4:30-6 p.m. and Sixteen Candles, 6:30-8 p.m. The concert benefits the Preservation Foundation of the Lake County Forest Preserves.
