Arts in the Park in Towne Square

Arts in the Park will be held on Saturday, July 26 from 10:00am to 2:00pm in Towne Square, 150 W. Palatine Road, Palatine. The event, presented by Northwest Special Recreation Association (NWSRA), celebrates the arts through live entertainment and art projects for children of all ages.

Staff members from NWSRA will be on hand with a variety of booths featuring many different hands on art projects. They also bring adaptive art equipment to demonstrate how children with special needs can participate in arts programs.

Free live entertainment is scheduled to take place throughout the event in the Towne Square gazebo:

• 10:30am - Peter Jump (Acoustic Guitar)

• 11:15am - Margie Dziadzka (Guitar)

• 12:00pm - Amy Bachmann and the PPD Summer Strings

• 12:45pm - Flamenco Exprisivo (Dancing)

• 1:30pm - Cory Bollettino (Synthesizer)

This event is free for all ages; registration can be done in advance through NWSRA, 3000 W. Central Road, Rolling Meadows, IL. Registration will also be accepted at the event. For more information, please contact NWSRA at 847-392-2848.
