Boomers host 'Human Interaction Night' July 26

Leave the phone at home (or at least turn it off) for the Schaumburg Boomers' "Human Interaction Night" at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 26 when the defending Frontier League champions square off against the Traverse City Beach Bums.

From a special guest appearance from "Wilson" (the volleyball) from the movie "Cast Away" to the "Talk to a Human" booth on the concourse to the cellphone user dunce cap, "Human Interaction Night" is centered on appreciating some time together watching winning baseball without the distraction of handheld electronic devices.

The night at Boomers Stadium begins with a free youth T-shirt giveaway for the first 1,000 kids under age 12, and ends with a postgame fireworks show.
