Rolling Meadows McDonald's being rebuilt

One of the McDonald's restaurants in Rolling Meadows has been demolished and will be replaced with a new prototype featuring two drive-through lanes.

The restaurant at 1775 Algonquin Road at New Wilke Road also will be a little larger, Valerie Dehner, director of community development for the city, said Tuesday. The project is expected to take up to four months, Dehner said.

Andrew Uttan, project engineer and manager for V3 Companies of Woodridge, told the city's plan commission in January that the building was constructed in 1975 and needed to be rebuilt
