Allen County sheriff's Cpl. Jeremy Tinkel says the man was pronounced dead soon after the crash Sunday night at an intersection near Interstate 469 just outside New Haven.

Tinkel tells WANE-TV a domestic dispute escalated into the chase during which the woman called police and dispatchers were talking with her daughter in an attempt to get them to slow down or to a police station.

Tinkel says the woman isn't expected to face any charges.
