Wayne Messmer Mesmerizes

A jam packed crowd of over 1000 people went to Libertyville's Dog Days of Summer Opening Ceremonies to hear Wayne Messmer sing the National Anthem. Libertyville is the site of the "DockDogs National Dog Jumping Competition", where over 100 nationally ranked jumping dogs run down a 40' dock and jump into a 35,000 gallon pool of water. Before singing, Wayne gave the crowd a special thrill by first walking around, shaking hands and posing for "Selfies". Joanna Shapiro of Libertyville said, "I was so excited, I had goose bumps all over when I heard him sing the National Anthem just 10 feet in front of me". Bill Kaiser, organizer of the event said, "You could not find a better way to kick off the 6th Annual Dog Days of Summer. Wayne Messmer singing the National Anthem in the middle of Downtown Libertyville, it doesn't get much better than that".
