The 19th Terry Moran Softball Tournament will be held all day Saturday, July 19, at Kimball Hill Park, 3251 Campbell St., Rolling Meadows. Around 30 teams will compete in men's 16-inch, men's 12-inch, women's 12-inch and a 14-inch coed-recreational division. The event, run by the Rolling Meadows Park District, honors the memory of the softball hall of famer from Rolling Meadows who died in a car accident. For many years, the day also included a festival organized in his memory by the family that served as a fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
