Tee off with GLMV at annual golf outing

The Green Oaks, Libertyville, Mundelein, Vernon Hills business community will enjoy a day of golf, food, contests and more at the GLMV Chamber of Commerce golf outing from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, at Hawthorn Woods Country Club, 1 Tournament Drive, Hawthorn Woods.

GLMV member Hawthorn Woods Golf Course is a private, Arnold Palmer Signature, 18-hole course with bentgrass fairways and greens with wetlands, streams and trees. The seventh green marks the highest point in Lake County.

Golf and sponsorship packages are now available.

The fee to golf is $165 per person or $650 for a foursome by Aug. 1; or $175 per person, $675 per foursome after Aug. 1, which includes driving range, lunch, 18 holes of golf, a cart, the complimentary beverage cart, a cocktail reception, buffet dinner, prizes, awards, raffles, and networking.

Those who don't golf can take part in the buffet dinner for $75 per person.
