Illinois attorney general to address alleged scams
Illinois' attorney general plans to announce legal action against what her office says are new student loan debt scams.
A statement from Lisa Madigan's office says she'll provide details on Monday about planned lawsuits.
The statement provided few details. But it did say one target was a company based in Chicago.
Madigan's office has addressed similar issues before. She's alleged misleading practices by some for-profit colleges, including deceptive lending practices.
