The Waukegan Park District hosts a Kids Yard Sale on Saturday, July 26, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Belvidere Park, 412 S. Lewis Ave., Waukegan. The event is open to the public. This is a new event that gives children the opportunity to learn how to operate a business and manage money under the supervision of their parents or guardian. The Kids Yard Sale still has room for families to reserve a booth to sell unused or outgrown kids' clothes, toys, shoes, books, stuffed animals and small furniture. The registration deadline is Friday, July 18. A Kids Yard Sale packet with the rules and tips for set up and sales will be provided when an adult and child register for a booth. Each booth space is $10 for Waukegan Park District residents and $12 for nonresidents and comes with a table, two chairs and a 10-foot area around the table. A 10x10 tent is available for an additional $5. For information, call Jen at (847) 360-4700 or visit www.waukeganparks.org.
