Cougars fall in 14 innings

CLINTON, Iowa - The Kane County Cougars dropped a 2-1 decision in 14 innings Sunday against the Clinton LumberKings in Midwest League action.

Trailing 1-0, the Cougars (12-4, 57-29) knotted the score in the sixth inning on an RBI single from Shawon Dunston Jr.

Tyler Skulina started for the Cougars and allowed 1 run on 6 hits through 6 innings. Reliever Jen-Ho Tseng worked 5 scoreless innings, allowing 1 hit.

The Cougars are off today before continuing their road trip Tuesday at Quad Cities.
