Schaumburg Town Square hosts summer concerts
Free concerts sponsored by the Schaumburg Township District Library are filling Schaumburg's Town Square with music all July. Pamela Rose and Windy City Country perform 6:45-8:15 p.m. Monday, July 7; Dancing With Class is 7-7:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 8; Class of '68 deliver a fusion of classic rock and soul, 6:45-8:15 p.m. Monday, July 14; Denny Diamond does a Neil Diamond tribute, 6:45-8:15 p.m. Monday, July 21. The Limited Edition Big Band with vocalist Julie Caselli is onstage 6:45-8:15 p.m. Monday, July 28; Battle of the Bands, a teen rock band competition, is 6-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 29. Audience members are invited to bring snacks, beverages, lawn chairs and blankets, but not pets.
