District 214 performs all-district musical next week

Northwest Suburban High School District 214 will present its first all-district musical at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, and Thursday, July 10, at Wheeling High School's Robert Sang Theatre.

The show is directed by Jeremy Morton of Prospect High School, Stephen Colella of Wheeling High School, and choreographed by Joseph Wolfe of Elk Grove High School.

The all-district musical gives an opportunity to bring together talented students from across District 214 to share the stage and work together.

The play, "Urinetown!," is the winner of three Tony Awards. It is a tale of greed, corruption, love and revolution in a time when water is worth its weight in gold.

Tickets are $10 and will be sold at the door. To reserve tickets, email Jeremy.Morton@d214.org.
