Library bus trips head to Ravinia and Fireside Theater

The motorcoach will leave for Ravinia's performance of "CSO Live: West Side Story" at 3:30 p.m., Friday, July 18, from the library's parking lot, 130 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg, and return at approximately 11:30 p.m. The Oscar-winning film will be shown on the giant pavilion screens, while the score is played live by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

The $92 fee includes transportation, pavilion seating, and a buffet dinner in a tented space. Ravinia is located in Glencoe.

Those interested in seeing the critically-acclaimed musical revue, "Smokey Joe's Café," are invited to register for the bus trip that leaves the library parking lot at 8:45 a.m., Thursday, July 24, and heads to the Fireside Theater in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. The bus will return to the library at approximately 5:30 p.m. The $87 fee includes transportation, ticket, and a plated lunch before the show.
