Woodland charity golf outing

The Woodland Educational Foundation is sponsoring its 8th annual golf outing on July 17, at the Geneva National Golf Club in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. All proceeds go to support the students and staff of Woodland Elementary District 50. During the past seven years, funds raised at the golf outing have gone toward the Foundation's purchase of SMART Boards, iPads, supplemental curricular materials, choral risers, playground equipment for Early Childhood, software, microscopes, guitars, a fitness station and a golf curriculum for the Middle School to name a few. Last year, approximately $16,000 was raised at the golf outing, according to a news release. Anyone interested in attending this event or making a donation to the event should visit: https://www.dist50.net/FoundationInfo/pages/default.aspx for more information.
