A 24-year-old McHenry man was killed Friday evening after his motorcycle hit a pickup truck that was towing a small trailer in McHenry, authorities said.

At 8:24 p.m., McHenry police were dispatched to Route 120 and Northside Avenue for the crash that involved a Suzuki motorcycle and a Chevrolet truck that was pulling a generator trailer, according to a news release from the McHenry Police Department. Baehne died at the scene of the crash and nobody else was injured, officials said.
