Boomers blow 4-run lead, drop fourth straight

EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Schaumburg was unable to hold a 4-run lead and fell 10-7 to the Evansville Otters in Frontier League action Friday night, the Boomers' fourth straight loss.

The Boomers jumped all over Evansville starter Zach Peters, who left after 3⅓ innings after allowing 4 runs that included Bobby Martin's 2-run double.

Reliever Ross Spurgeon took the loss.

The series continues today at 6:35 p.m.
