The inaugural Lake Count-I-Con comic book convention will be held this weekend at the Cultural and Civic Center, 2007 N. Civic Center Way, Round Lake Beach. Gaming, workshops and other activities are planned. The event will be open from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $5, but kids 11 or younger get in free.
