• Alysa A. Eakins, 21, of the 1300 block of Prairie Street, St. Charles, was charged at 6:37 p.m. June 21 at her residence with harassment by electronic communications and resisting arrest, according to a sheriff's report. Eakins is accused of sending numerous texts to another person as part of an ongoing feud.

• A motorized golf cart was set on fire at about 4:15 a.m. Wednesday near the seventh tee at Tanna Farms, 39W771 Benton Lane, Geneva, causing an estimated $1,500 damage to the cart, according to a sheriff's report. The fire was extinguished at about 4:40 a.m.
