Naperville parking lot closing for repairs

The Parkview parking lot near Naperville's downtown train station will be closed to all traffic for resurfacing from 5 a.m. Friday, June 27, through midnight Sunday, June 29, officials said Thursday.

The resurfacing is part of the city's plans to make improvements at 15 parking lots this summer. Work on all the lots is scheduled for completion by August.

Commuters with hangtag permits for Parkview may park in any of the other hangtag permit commuter lots, including the Burlington Lot at the southeast corner of 5th Avenue and Washington Street and the Kroehler Lot at the northeast corner of 5th Avenue and Loomis Street. A map of all commuter parking facilities is available at www.naperville.il.us/commuterparking.aspx.

If lots are full, commuters should contact the Commuter Call Center at (630) 305-5330 for instructions on where to park.

The Parkview lot is scheduled to reopen Monday, June 30.
