Dog-friendly Yappy Hour June 27 in Schaumburg

Bring your family or just your pooch and enjoy a happy hour like no other.

The Schaumburg Park District will hold Yappy Hour from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 27, at Meineke Park, 220 E. Weathersfield Way. Adults will enjoy wine samples, children will create craft projects and pups will participate in an agility course and bob for hot dogs. Cold soda and beer will also be available.

Participants must be 21 years of age to drink alcoholic beverages. A copy of each dog's shot records must be brought the day of the event.

Resident costs are $12 for adults with beverage, $5 for adults without beverage and $3 for children. Nonresident costs are $18 for adults with beverage, $11 for adults without beverage and $5 for children. Dogs are free.
