Elk Grove hires assistant village manager

Elk Grove Village has hired a new assistant village manager to replace Joe Carey, who left to become assistant village manager/director of community development in Vernon Hills.

Maggie Jablonski started her new role in Elk Grove this month. She will work under Deputy Village Manager Matt Roan and Village Manager Ray Rummel. Jablonski previously served as a legislative aide for Cook County Commissioner Gregg Goslin, and she was an intern for then-U.S. Rep. Rahm Emanuel.
