Libertyville history on display:

Photos of the people, businesses and the key issues and events in Libertyville over 100 years will be on display in the foyer at St. Lawrence Church, 125 W. Church St., for three days each in June, July and August to coordinate with local events. The free public showings are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, June 26, to coincide with the farmers market, and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, June 27, for Out to Lunch, both in nearby Cook Park. Car Fun on 21 will be added to the mix in July. The history of the Lake County Fair will be on display July 16-18, during the same three local events, and Aug. 20 to 22, will be "Made in Libertyville," a look at local businesses that originated in Libertyville. Dan Timm, former executive director of MainStreet Libertyville, and the Libertyville-Mundelein Historical Society are the co-hosts.
