Drop in on day of nature activities at Ruch Creek

Join McHenry County Conservation District for an event to kick off the summer from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 22, at Rush Creek Conservation Area, 20501 McGuire Road, Harvard.

Nature-related activities for the whole family will be available in Spanish and English. Stop by or stay for the entire time.

There will be hikes, fishing, games, food, and live music by La Plebada de la Sierra from 4 to 6 p.m., as well as bilingual storytelling from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. A limited number of fishing poles and bait will be available for your use. Bring your own pole if you have one. Participants ages 16 or older must have a valid Illinois fishing license, http://tinyurl.com/Jvutnwo.
