Library Sponsors Teen Cooking Class
The Westmont Public Library has teamed up with local restaurant, Sweet & Savory Spot, to give teens a chance to learn valuable cooking skills. Participants will work with a chef to make Southwestern style chili and homemade pickles. At the end of the class, teens will have time to enjoy their hard work as they sample their delicious creations.
This program is free and open to anyone between the ages of 12-18. Register by calling the library at 630-969-5625 or online at westmontlibrary.org. This event will take place at: The Sweet & Savory Spot, 31 N Cass Ave. on Tuesday, June 24, 7-8:30pm.
