Movies Under the Stars in Buffalo Grove kicks off June 27

The Buffalo Grove Park District will be showing three free movies this summer at Willow Stream Park, 651 Old Checker Road, as part of their Movies Under the Stars series.

The first movie will be "Frozen" on June 27, sponsored by Forsight Vision. Other movies include "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2" on July 18, sponsored by Ernie's Wrecker, and "Despicable Me 2" on Aug. 1, sponsored by Waste Management. Movies will begin at dusk.

The movie series is being brought to the community through a generous donation by the series' signature sponsor, ABC Plumbing, Heating, Cooling and Electric. ABC will be bringing a frozen treat for the first 500 people in attendance for the showing of "Frozen" on June 27.

Concessions are available for purchase, or viewers can bring a picnic of their own.
