Daily Herald report

Bartlett is collecting used eye glasses in a donation drive for the Bartlett Lions Club. The eyewear can be dropped off at the multipurpose room inside village hall, 228 S. Main St.

The drive is part of Bartlett's Clean Up Week, running from June 23-28.

Residents and businesses also are encouraged to bring slightly used school supplies to village hall. Those items will go to the School and Community Assistance for Composting and Recycling Education, or SCARCE.

As an incentive, Clean Up Week participants will be submitted into a raffle for a free rain barrel. For details, call (630) 837-0800 or visit
