EAST PEORIA - Authorities in East Peoria say three people are dead after a gunman shot two people at an East Peoria sports bar before he was shot and killed by an off-duty law-enforcement officer.

The (Peoria) Journal Star reports that that the gunman walked into The Fifth Quarter bar Saturday night and shot two people who were attending a high school reunion before he was shot and killed by the officer.

The gunman's victims were 33-year-old Lori A. Moore of Morton, who died at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center after being shot in the head, and a 36-year-old Peoria man whose name was not immediately released pending notification of family.
