Waukegan library learning day:

The Kohl Children's Museum will present a Summer Learning Day at the Waukegan Public Library on Saturday, June 21, with free hands-on science activities for families. From 1 to 4 p.m., two education specialists from the museum will present interactive activities for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. The activities will focus on physical fitness, science, technology, reading, and math. No registration is required, families are welcome to drop-in and stay as long as they like.

Summer Learning Day is a part of the Waukegan Campaign for Grade Level Reading initiative by the United Way of Lake County with the Waukegan Public Library, Waukegan Public School District and many key social service organizations. For information, call Gale Graves at (847) 623-2041, ext. 223.
