Northwestern unveils new scoreboards for arena

Northwestern Wildcat fans will be experiencing Welsh-Ryan arena differently in the 2014-15 season with the addition of four high-definition video displays.

The arena, home to men's and women's basketball, volleyball, and wrestling, will feature a 23-foot-wide display above centercourt that faces the north and south stands. Behind each basket will be two new 25-foot-wide scoreboards.

The new look "will tremendously enhance the experience of both our student-athletes and our dedicated fans," Northwestern volleyball head coach Keylor Chan said.

Work on the project is set to start in late June.
