Health Rocks day camp:

The University of Illinois Extension office in Grayslake hosts a "Health Rocks Day Camp" for 5 to 7-year-olds on June 16, 17 and 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The office is at 100 S. Route 45. During the three-day camp, kids will make healthy snacks and try new fruits and vegetables, learn first aid fundamentals and tips on how to be safe this summer. They'll also sample a variety of sports, Yoga and an obstacle course. And, they'll create a "Pizza Garden" they can bring home, water and watch grow. A snack, lunch and T-shirt will be provided.
