Divisions Discovery Health Partners and Ajilitee recognize executives for outstanding performance and contributions to the growth of the business

ITASCA, IL (May 16, 2014) - LaunchPoint, a provider of cloud-based healthcare analytic solutions and services, announced the appointment of four executives to new positions for corporate divisions Discovery Health Partners and Ajilitee. Citing their contributions to the rapid growth of the company, CEO Terrence Ryan today appointed Laura Cohen to Vice President, Operations, for Discovery Health Partners and Elizabeth Longo to Vice President, Legal, for LaunchPoint, and General Counsel for Discovery Health Partners. Bill Whittemore was named Vice President for Ajilitee and Jim Van de Water was named Senior Manager for Ajilitee.

Laura Cohen joined Discovery Health Partners in 2012 as Director, Client Advocacy and COB Operations. Currently, she manages the largest team in the company, with nearly 45 people, and is responsible for client on-boarding, day-to-day operations, and client engagement for Discovery Health Partners. Cohen has also been indispensable in winning new business and an invaluable participant in Product Strategy and Marketing programs in support of our evolving solution set and market outreach programs. A graduate of Illinois State University, she resides in Schaumburg, Ill.

Liz Longo has served as Director of Legal Services for Discovery Health Partners since 2008. Longo has been instrumental in shaping Discovery Health Partners' subrogation product, winning key new business, negotiating settlements, and litigating on behalf of clients. Her vast knowledge of subrogation and the legal issues that surround cost containment is often demonstrated in her articulate and credible presentations to prospects and clients. In the last two years, Longo has also assumed additional responsibility as Chief Privacy Officer and put in place programs to ensure the company remained in compliance with HIPAA and Medicare regulations. An undergraduate of Loyola University, she received her MBA Juris Doctorate from DePaul University and resides in Bartlett, Ill.

Bill Whittemore joined Ajilitee in 2013, bringing with him 30 years experience in business intelligence, information management, and healthcare. In his first year as Practice Leader for Ajilitee, Whittemore accelerated Ajilitee's growth with an expansion of service offerings and client service enhancements, realigning the practice's go-to-market strategy to focus on business solutions. This shift from solely IT competencies opened the door to conversations outside of the IT community and positioned Ajilitee as a strategic partner, not just an IT partner. Whittemore also serves as lead subject matter expert in support of all business development efforts and managed consulting engagements in addition to leading the practice. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, he resides in Atlanta.

Jim Van de Water joined Ajilitee in 2011 with 16 years of experience developing and implementing business intelligence and data warehousing solutions at Fortune 500 clients. His core competencies include project and program management of onshore, near-shore and offshore deliveries. Van de Water is a regular contributor to Ajilitee's blog and a thought leader in the practice. A graduate of Rutgers College of Engineering, Van de Water resides in Washington, NJ.
