Pet contest at Libertyville Days:

The annual pet contest held during the Libertyville Days festival is set for Sunday, June 15. All types of pets are welcome and can enter any of the following categories: best look-alike costume; most original costume; most American costume: best trick; and, funniest trick. Registration is 3 to 3:30 p.m. at the steps of the Cook mansion in Cook Park, and the third annual contest is from 3:30 to 5 p.m. The fee is $10 per pet, with proceeds going to Animal Edcuation & Rescue, a non-proift humane society, and the Civic Center Foundation.
