Naper Settlement finalizes the lineup for Naper Nights

Naper Settlement has finalized the lineup of bands for this summer's Naper Nights Community Concert Series that will held Friday and Saturday nights, June 20-21, July 25-26 and August 22-23 at 523 S. Webster St. in Naperville. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, family and friends for a summertime tradition that features cold drinks, great food and memorable music. Admission is $15 adults, $10 youth 4-12, members and children under 4 are free. No outside food or beverages are allowed. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Naper Nights' opening weekend highlights every decade of rock music from the 1960s through today. On Friday, June 20, Deacon Blues will play a tribute to Steely Dan, an iconic band of the 1970s, followed by headliners Michael McDermott and the Duke Street Kings, who will present an evening with the music of Bruce Springsteen. On Saturday, June 21, opening act Fortunate Sons will play the music of Creedence Clearwater Revival, followed by Mike & Joe, who will play the greatest pop and rock hits from the '90s to today.

The evening of Friday, July 25 will be dedicated to the music of Pink Floyd with tribute band Think Floyd performing Floyd's breakthrough album, "Dark Side of the Moon," in its entirety, other Floyd favorites and includes a custom light show with special effects.

The music is nonstop when the gates open early at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 26 with Dead Yet Alive, a Naperville high school band that was a winner in the Naperville Park District's Battle of the Bands. They will be followed by local favorites OMT (One More Time), who will play music ranging from country to indie to classic rock to the hits of today. The Ents will play a tribute to Rush and headliners ARRA transform into ARRivAl for a special night of music from Journey and friends.

The evening of Friday, Aug. 22 will be devoted entirely to the music of the Beatles when American English will play two full sets of Beatles music celebrating their U.S. arrival 50 years ago. On Saturday, Aug. 23, opening act Tumbling Dice will play a tribute to the Rolling Stones, followed by headliners16 Candles performing the best pop and rock of the '80s and '90s.

Back by popular demand will be the History of Rock Music Trivia Challenge where every attendee with a mobile device can team up with friends in a social-media-based competition to test their rock music knowledge. Nightly prizes will be awarded with a grand champion crowned at the end of the summer.

Beverage sponsors are Two Brothers Brewing Co. and Wente Vineyards. June concert food is being provided by Hugo's Frog Bar and Fish House and August concert food is being provided by Sullivan's Steakhouse. Four popular food trucks, The Calle Wagon, Bridgeport Pasty Company, Toasty Cheese and OMango, will bring their specialties in July. The Calle Wagon is a gourmet food truck specializing in Mexican/Mediterranean cuisine. Toasty Cheese offers gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches using select cheeses, quality meats, fresh produce and artisan breads. Bridgeport Pasty Company makes homemade hand-held pot pies and sells them from an all-electric vehicle. OMango features the flavors of India.

The Infiniti of Naperville Children's Activity Area will feature Pinot's Palette and painting in June; Party Saver will offer a face painter and balloonist in July; and Cosley Zoo will bring live animals in August.
