Route 22 resurfacing delayed:

The Illinois Department of Transportation has delayed resurfacing part of Route 22 through the village of North Barrington until after the completion of a Lake County construction project on Miller Road. IDOT agreed to return and resurface that portion of Route 22 at a later date. However, state crews will begin resurfacing the pavement along Route 22 from west of Route 59 to the intersection at Route 12, beginning Monday, June 16. Expect temporary traffic delays and partial lane closures during this repaving process, which could take a few weeks.
