Fox River Grove celebrates anniversary with car show, music and more June 7

Stop by Fox River Grove's 95th anniversary celebration from 3 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, June 7, at Stone Hill Center, routes 14 and 22. Admission is free.

There will be a car show, live music, food, ice cream, beer and more.

The car show will be from 3 to 6 p.m. with registration starting at 3 p.m. There will be trophies and awards for "Best in Show," judged by hot rod fanatic Mike Hawley; "Mayor's Pick" by Village President Robert J. Nunamaker; and the People's Choice. Judging will be at 6 p.m.

There will be free pony rides from 3 to 6 p.m., sponsored by Harris Bank.

Enjoy live music, sponsored by Community Church, with Highway G, Jennerator, and Andre and the Giants.

Bring a canned good or nonperishable item for the Cary-Grove Food Pantry at the Jewel-Osco tent.
