Palatine High Swim and Dive Teams To Hold Car Wash Fundraiser

On Saturday, June 7 from 9:00am to 1:00pm, the Palatine High School aquatics teams will host a car wash fundraiser. The car wash will be held in the stadium parking lot at Palatine High School, 1111 N. Rohlwing Road. Team members will wash cars for donations to support their programs.

The fundraiser is being offered by the boys and girls swimming and diving teams. Funds from this cooperative effort among all four teams will be used to help finance team events, provide team member support, and help subsidize the annual team banquets. According to Conor Ehrenstrom, one of this year's captains of the boy's team, "This is a group of kids that's really close and the Car Wash is another way for us to get even closer as a team. We have a ton of fun washing cars and I think the fact we can enjoy ourselves and raise money to go toward the team is really awesome."
