Two people dead in Bartlett ID'd

The deaths of two people found inside a Bartlett townhouse have been ruled a murder-suicide, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.

Bartlett police discovered the bodies of Eileen P. Sulli, 55, and David H. Stone, 49, about 7 p.m. Tuesday while responding to a request for a well-being check at the townhouse on the 500 block of Horizon Drive, authorities said.

The officers found Sulli deceased in the living room area and Stone in an upstairs bathroom, police said. Both lived at the residence.

Stone killed Sulli before committing suicide, according to the medical examiner's office.

Autopsies conducted Wednesday showed Sulli suffered head trauma, while Stone had self-inflicted sharp force injuries.

The Bartlett Police Department continues to investigate with assistance from the Major Case Assistance Team.
