Hampshire-Henpeck HCE Unit holds monthly meeting June 17

The Hampshire-Henpeck Unit of Home and Community Education will hold its next monthly meeting at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, at the Heartland Bank, 819 Warner St. in Hampshire.

The 4-H Club will give a presentation. Refreshments will be provided by Barbara Mursu and Barbara Janicak.

The new treasurer for Hampshire-Henpeck HCE will be Betty Rylko. After many years, Pat Lehman will retire as treasurer.

Two of the unit's members were inducted into the Kane County Association for Home Community Education. Claudia Lake will be the new first vice president and Barbara Mursu will be the international director.

They will have lunch at Cooper's Hawk in South Barrington at 1 p.m.
