A bike safety rodeo is set for noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 31, at Advocate Condell Medical Center's Conference Center, 801 S. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville. Participants can ride an obstacle course to test their skills and learn about bicycle and traffic safety, proper helmet fitting, the importance of wearing a helmet and fire trucks and safety gear. Safety inspections, helmet fitting and a goody bag will be offered. Kids must wear a helmet to participate and there will be a limited quantity of free helmets available to children who do not own one in the correct size. The event is sponsored by Advocate Condell and the village of Libertyville.
