North Northfield Accepting Donations for Thrift Sales
Donations are now being accepted for upcoming thrift sales at North Northfield United Methodist Church in Northbrook.
A wide variety of items such as gently used clothing, furniture, tools and toys may be donated. (No large televisions or mattresses, please.) Items may be dropped off weekday mornings at the church, located at Sanders and Dundee. Please call ahead at (847) 272-2250 to ensure someone will be available to accept the donations.
The dates for this year's sales will be on Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 26, 27, 28, Aug. 21, 22, 23, Oct. 2, 3, 4, and Nov. 13, 14, 15.
Proceeds from the sales will benefit local food pantries, mission projects and general church operations.
