Burlington Open Air Market to start in June

The Burlington Village Board has approved the Burlington Business Council to have five Open Air Market days in Burlington. It will be held on Water Street between Main and South streets.

They are busy adding a wide variety of vendors to be there for your convenience. Come see what Burlington and the surrounding area has to offer.

The markets will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month: June 14, July 12, Aug. 9, Sept. 13, and Oct. 11.

There will be a collection truck from the Epilepsy Center at the Open Air market on June 14 to collect used clothing of all shapes and sizes. On July 12, there will be an electronics drive during the Open Air Market.

There also will be fitness boot camps and yoga in the park on those same days. Plans are not complete yet for added features for the months of August, September and October.

Come and check out the market because it will be different each time!

A special thanks to Old Second Bank, Scheffler Electric, and local residents for your permission and tolerance for the activity in your immediate neighborhood. Each month will be different so please come check it out!

If you would like to be a vendor, there is still time for each event. Please inquire at Burlingtonbusinesscouncil@gmail.com. They will be glad to send you an application and share a great event with you.

There will be a wide range of items from fresh produce and plants, photos, nutrition, cosmetic, and craft items.

Come out and enjoy the community!
