Naperville girl among 2 from state going to National Youth Science Camp
SPRINGFIELD — A Naperville girl is one of two Illinois high school students chosen to represent the state this summer at the prestigious National Youth Science Camp in West Virginia.
The Illinois State Board of Education announced Tuesday that Kimberly Dauber of Naperville and Kassie Henry of Bowen were selected to participate in the all-expenses-paid honors program. Both are graduating this year and plan to pursue studies in the sciences.
Dauber attends Naperville North High School. She plans to attend the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she will major in computer science.
Henry attends Southeastern High School in Augusta, which is in Southeastern Community Unit School District 337. She plans to attend West Virginia University to pursue a degree in forensic and investigative science.
