Outdoor concerts will be staged this summer at the Independence Grove Forest Preserve, 16400 Buckley Road, near Libertyville. They'll be held Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. between June 17 and Aug. 5. The first show will feature a Caribbean rock band called Mr. Myers. Parking is $6 per car after 5 p.m. on concert days. For your safety, and as a courtesy to preserve neighbors, park in the preserve lot only. Cars will be turned away when parking is full.
