Waubonsie Valley 10, West Chicago 5:

The Warriors (21-7, 17-4) drew within a victory of winning the Valley Division championship in the Upstate Eight Conference. Tyler Hasper homered and drove in 2 runs while Ryan Jones went 3-for-4. Drew Ellem also had 2 RBI. Zack Bennema was the complete-game winning pitcher. Antonio Solis, who had 2 RBI, and Austin Kordik went 2-for-3 for West Chicago (14-15, 9-13).

Glenbard West 10, Downers North 6:

The Hilltoppers (16-14, 9-9) scored 5 sixth-inning runs to break open the West Suburban Silver game. Will Simoneit went 3-for-4 while Luke Domask doubled, tripled and drove in 2 runs. Billy Becker also had 2 RBI. Myles Farley drove in 2 runs for Downers North (17-11, 9-9).

Glenbard North 6, Wheaton North 5:

Chris Murray and Luke Greenberg homered for the Panthers (18-12, 12-8) in their DuPage Valley Conference victory. Sam Ledbetter went 2-for-3 while Chris Ruiz pitched 5 innings to win on the mound. Greg Scandora homered and drove in 4 runs for Wheaton North (16-13, 12-8). Greg Sells went 2-for-4.

Glenbard East 7, WW South 5:

The Rams (16-16, 9-11) trailed 3-0 before scoring all their runs in the final three innings of the DuPage Valley Conference matchup. Tyler Behrendt homered and drove in 3 runs while Michael Sebby went 2-for-2. Eric Giltz and Brett Struebing had 2 RBI for WW South (13-12, 11-9).

Lisle 6, Sandwich 3:

The Lions (18-12, 8-6) scored all their runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to pull out the Interstate Eight Conference victory. Kevin Coppin went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI and winning pitcher Ryan Joyce drove in 2 runs.

Montini 2, Geneva 1:

The Broncos (20-6) scored the tying and winning runs in the bottom of the seventh in the nonconference victory. Austin Kline led off with a solo home run and Eddie Bava singled home the winning run. Tyler Quick went the distance while allowing only 2 hits, striking out six and walking three.

Wheaton Academy 15, IMSA 0:

Brett Albaugh doubled, tripled and had 4 RBI as the Warriors (15-13) rolled to the five-inning nonconference victory. Ryan Beck and Austin Ebeling had 3 hits and 2 RBI. Chris Johnson also drove in 2 runs. Brandon Valente, Will Burdett and Bryce Sandberg combined on the mound.

Ridgewood 8, Glenbard South 1:

Will Cornwell and Joey Atkinson went 2-for-4 for the Raiders (17-11, 11-5) in their Metro Suburban Conference loss.

West Aurora 5, Lake Park 4:

The Lancers (11-18, 7-13) fell in the DuPage Valley Conference despite a 3-for-3 effort with 2 runs scored by Colin Fowich. Gunnar Barlund drove in 2 runs and Mike Nielson went 2-for-3.

Bartlett 9, Metea Valley 7:

Matt Fitzgerald went 2-for-3 with a double and 3 RBI as the Mustangs (17-12, 13-9) dropped the Upstate Eight Conference contest. Jack Szott homered and Jacob Petersen drove in 2 runs.

St. Rita 7, Downers South 6:

Danny Oriente homered and drove in 3 runs for the Mustangs (23-6) in the nonconference loss. Zac Taylor and Joey Engel each went 2-for-3.
