College of Lake County holds 45th annual commencement

The College of Lake County held its 45th annual commencement ceremonies on Saturday in the Physical Education Center at the Grayslake campus.

The 2014 graduating class consists of 2,769 graduates. The college saw an increase of 957 graduates from 2013.

Two ceremonies were held Saturday - one in the morning for transfer degrees and one in the afternoon for Associate in Applied Science degrees and certificates.

Multiple speeches were given and the Student Government Association sponsored a reception for graduates, faculty and guests after each ceremony.
