• A wallet, cellphone, and a silver 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe were stolen between 2 and 5:18 a.m. Monday from the 54W200 block of Kelley Road near Hampshire, according to a sheriff's report. The owner of the items told authorities he met an escort that night in Rockford, used cocaine and heroin before returning to his home with her and passing out, the report said. When he woke, the items and his vehicle were missing.

• An iPhone5, valued at $800, was stolen between 12:01 a.m. and 1:28 p.m. Friday from a residence on the 6N100 block of Emily Lane near St. Charles.

• Nicholas W. Kanehl, 22, of the 9N900 block of Muirhead Lane, Elgin, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of hypodermic needles and syringes, and possession of drug paraphernalia at 12:07 a.m. May 9 after deputies found him passed out in a car at Essex and Park avenues near St. Charles, according to a sheriff's report.
